Art Club for Kids

Recommended ages 7-12

Art Club at GAC encourages creative kids to branch out and have fun building a foundation in visual literacy and creative problem solving. Our instructors focus on expanding students’ experience of art beyond school curriculum, introducing novel techniques, tools, concepts, and inspiration from the contemporary art world, including GAC’s rotating exhibitions.

This semester-long program will allow students to explore art through a variety of different media, including drawing, painting, sculpting, and ceramics.

All materials and supplies for this class are included with registration.

POLICIES

• ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:  August 13 2025

  Late enrollment IS accepted, however some materials may not be ready at first class.

• Registration Fees will not be refunded. 

• In the rare event of cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, a reasonable effort will be made to schedule a make-up class session on an alternate date, or the class fee (less any classes already held) will be credited to the customer’s account.

• Group communications/announcements are conducted by email to the address entered at registration. Individual communications may be handled by phone/text.
  
  
  

SCHOLARSHIPS
Teachers, counsellors, etc. may nominate a student with whom they are professionally acquainted for a partial scholarship if they can attest to the the student’s interest in the subject and financial need. The student’s parent/legal guardian will be notified and given further instructions. You may not nominate your own child, dependent, or other close relation.

GAC Members enjoy 20% off of tuition. You must sign in with the email associated with your membership account to receive the discount. Full-time students, teachers/professors, and parents who homeschool can join at the Student/Educator level for just $30/year.

For liability reasons, please do not register a student who is a minor unless you are their parent or legal guardian.
